Week 4

                                                                        Lab 4

On November 16 I went to room 202 to see the organism on my micro aquarium. It was interesting because some of my organism was dead and just few of them was life which some of them I didn't see it before but some others I had already. But the one I had it was and live and living with the condition. Here are some pictures which I took and used photoshop to create a good images of organism.

Week 1

First Micro aquarium lab

On October 24 I made my first Micro aquarium in class. The aquarium is a small thin plastic layer which I filled with the water #12. Also I design the aquarium with two different grass. grass A and B. After I carefully put my aquarium under the microscope and look at it. There wasn't lot of micro organism. I just see the warm and some bacteria.
Here is some picture of my micro organism:

                                                                    Lab 4

On November 10 at 11:30 I went to see my microaquarium organism.  with the help of Dr.McFarland I get the computer with camera. I was keep searching for an hour but I really didn't see alot of organism in my microaguarium. Surprisingly most of the organism was death and just few was survive.

Week 2

Third Lab Observation

On October 26 Doctor. McFarland inserted some food to everyone aquarium and student should see the aquarium after a week to see how many organism grow on the aquarium. So Friday November 2 at 1:00 pm I went to science building room 202 at University of Tennessee and with Dr. McFarland help I just look at my aquarium and find organism and took the pictures. I took the picture with Sony video Camera and look at Dell Computer.

The First Organism I saw was related to the Phyllum Scrodina. Dr. McFarland helped me to identifies this organism as a Actinosphaerium (Patterson.D.J. Page 169. Figure 394. number of pages 223). Below is the picture of the organism which was used Photoshop as 100 image size with help of Dr. McFarland. This Organism look like a sea urchin.

The Second Organism I saw Raphhidocyste is a small eukaryotic algae(Patterson.D.J. Page 174. Figure 408. number of pages 223) . This organism was interested because of the beautiful mixed of blue color and slow moving in the water. Also with the help of Dr.McFarland edit this organism by 100 size.

The Third organism I absorb was Coleps.(Patterson.D.J. Page 162. Figure 375. number of pages 223). This Organism belong to the Prostmatea. This organism is rapid swimmer also this organism has little legs which helped to swim in the water.

The Fourth organism was Halteria.(Patterson.D.J. Page 139. Figure 305. number of pages 223) This image captured of Halteria which has a jumping motion through water.

The Fifth organism is Tachysoma. (Patterson.D.J. Page 125. Figure 264. number of pages 223). I saw this organism completely different with others. The others had a circle buddy shape but this organism has a long buddy and moving fast through the water.

The sixth,  Organism is Cyclidium.(Patterson.D.J. Page 149. Figure 331. number of pages 223)  This organism to much similar to Raphhidocyste but the different is this organism has a round buddy shape.

The seven organism I saw on the micro aquarium was Vorticella. (Patterson.D.J. Page 113. Figure 232-236. number of pages 223). This organism related to the Protist family. This has a stalked ciliate with an inverted ball shape and look like a trumpet shape.

The Eight organism was Anisonema. (Patterson.D.J. Page 54. Figure 77. number of pages 223)This organism is a member of Anisonema. I saw this organism had a direct long antenna in front and swing slow.
